Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. Hopefully going to get back to this project soon, I finally got that other bike running and ready to go for summer so I'll have something to ride while I finish the cafe racer.

I would love to be able to work on the bike up at school but i'm living...
I have a pair of stock Keihin's off of a CL350 that I am attempting to rebuild. When I pulled them, the slides were stuck as well as the throttle butterflys (not sure if that's what they're called, but its the piece where the idle speed adjustment screw is and it's what lifts up and down when...
Unfortunately this build will be going on hiatus because I'll be returning to school soon and funds are tight. When I have time, Ill be working on getting this other 350 ready to sell in the spring so I can make some money to put back into this project. Basically, the carbs need to be rebuilt...
Looking to buy a decent CB350 tank from 1968 or 1969. Need something with no major dents or excessive rust problems. PM if you've got one and what you're looking to get for it. Posted an example pic below of the style of tank I'm looking for... Doesn't need to be in that good of condition...
Can anyone recommend a decent spoke kit for a 72 CL350? They ran a 18" rear wheel and 19" front... I know DCC has some kits but they're pretty expensive. I did a little shopping around on ebay and found some kits from china for like $75 shipped for both wheels. DCC was gonna be over $200 for...
1972 Honda CB350 - Little Boy
looking forward to see how this turns out! I too am a college student working on my second 350 build... They're a really fun bike and easy to learn the ropes on. As for your gas tank, I would try filling it with distilled vinegar and letting it sit for a day or so...
Finally got everything torqued down and buttoned up today. Also, sanded off the fins on the head. Very pleased with how the engine turned out. Fingers crossed it runs even better then it looks. After looking at it for a bit I think I might polish up the tappet covers.
Installed the starter block of plate I made. I used a lock nut with a shit ton of locktight so I think it should stay just fine. I ended up having to make a spacer to go between the two plates out of a piece of 1/4" pipe so that the plates wouldn't flex in to much when I tightened up the bolt...
1. I would try to get the engine running first so you know if you have a good base to start with. The carbs and tank will probably need to be cleaned if they sat with gas.
2. I would start by doing a compression test. That usually provides good insight as to what is going on inside the motor...
Here's the starter block off plate I made. The black one goes on the outside with the gasket and the other goes on the inside. The bolt goes through the middle and squeezes them. I'm definitely going to put a lock washer and locktite on that nut just to be safe. I might have to make a spacer to...
Got the forks back together with new seals, new allen bolts and gaskets and the rust cleaned off of the tubes the best I could. I'll be using that stainless pipe you see in the picture to make some fork covers to go between the triples which will cover most of the rust. I'm assuming you fill the...
