Yes I saw a webpage or two with some examples of the race bikes, pretty sweet stuff really. The cool (to me) thing about the little bike is it is one of those things you wont see very often. Should be a cool little around town runner. The more I think of it the more I want to go pick this thing up.

You know I had considered those exact mods. I actually build tanks all the time, and was sorely tempted to fab something up. The thing is is that with the stock pipes though I think it looks a little odd to have that all open, not really balanced.

Yeah I bounce back and forth between new sportbikes and old road machines. I honestly cannot get into some of the "heavy iron" but I do love the look of an old smallbore lightweight, although I have never owned one.
