Yep. It used to control the kill switch but I was at liberty one Sunday with the custom car guys and I made the mistake of letting a little kid play around with stuff on my bike. Whistle, switches,... And he grabbed that knob and wrenched on it like a water bib. Now it just spins freely. Luckily...

Here is the complete bike with the new seat. I used the same leather to wrap the handle bars and added a piece of patina sheet metal mud flap/splash guard.
And of course I had to modify the key.
