You can probably get by with a really thorough cleaning and home surface prep job with the frame if you wanted to, some of the rattle cans out there produce a great end result.

Just tightening the cylinder head properly could completely solve your issue, great work on the aluminum

Looks good, TJ. The colors and proportions on this bike have that great period look. The little Vtwin looks right at home in that frame.

Was all the debris in the oil filter just shaved off clutch material? If so seems like a minor problem masquerading as something much more heart attack inducing haha

Very cool side project. Nice job on the air-brushing man, have you done much of that type of painting in the past? I imagine the removal of the damaged paint areas was the most crucial stage of the job, I'd be worried about botching the good paint... Cool you found that dudes high score from...
