that super-pratic sure is tasty... I've been eyeballing the vm34's for awhile, but I was told it was a downgrade from the bs38's.. still up in the air... thank's for the help.. sorry for jacking the thread..
my bike is a 75 as well. ! we really need to talk. 8) Right now I have the 34mm shocks. will this work for the 34's ? I ordered a 35mm set of trees last night so eventualy i'm going to go to the better forks. I also ordered the calipers from the sv650.. found a great deal on ebay last night...

been riding the XS650 around and I really don't like the riding position from the clip-ons and rearsets. I'm 6ft and I feel like i'm too hunched foward. I have my clipons mount under the top tree. I can't mount them on top cause there is no room.. is there anything I can do to improve the ride...
wow!!! glad I found this thread... I'm actually wanting to do this right now.. can you go into more detail with the 6mm spacers???, also what year is your bike...
yea, I have the 38's on my 75.. setting the float level is critical. I have bought a NOS rebuilt kit from yamaha.. it came with a guage to set the correct float level.
Re: XS650 bobber
