Hey Noel
Jr thought it might be a hairline crack somewhere at the top of the engine as he replaced the gasket and it didnt stop the leak. He slapped on some gasket sealer and it seemed to stop the leak so looks like things are OK now.
I had the same issue with my cb350. took it to jr at TO cycle who made an adjustment and fixed it for good. the good news is that it seems that a simple adjustment is all you need to get rid of it, bad news is I have no idea what the adjustment was that fixed it.
I might be in for rear fender, seat and seat pan if they fit cb350 & the seller is willing to part out the bike or if y'all are looking for someone to go in on a parts bike.
Re: Another way to make a seat yourself - upholstered Cafe seat
Be interested to see how you make out on attaching the vinyl cover to the seat. I have seen other home jobs and the vinyl just doesn't seem to be tight enough. Looking good though!
