Thanks to the both of you.
I like what that guy did but I just read a post from another kawi guy his name was like Sighboysigh? or something. he says these old vtwin jap bikes especially the KZ's are going to the most collectible vintage bikes. It really makes me not want to ruin the frame :(...
SO I made my first post the other day but got no where with it.
This kz440 started off junk and ended up like this.
now I need ideas where to go with it. These Kawis have the "step up" frame so its hard to make a good looking café out of it without chopping and welding a lot, (things I have...
I think ive seen you over on the Kawasaki twin owners forum or something, and actually when I was deciding to buy this bike it was your pictures on google that convinced me.
I really have no plan for this bike so far, its just before I start chopping and shit I want to have a blueprint as to...
I dig it. One thing someone taught me when I was repadding my seat is to put a trash bag over the top layer of foam, but under the vinyl. Keeps the foam from soaking up rain water and squishing down into a wet seat. Then it leaves just a small amount of water in just the fabric itself.

So, I got this kz440 LTD belt drive back in October. I just recently decided I need to post on the forum.
