Hi, Does anyone have a spare airbox for a CB400F? I'm looking for the part that attaches to the carbs only and don't need the air filter housing and duct etc.

It runs! Pulled, cleaned and regapped all the plugs, recharged the battery, checked all carbs were getting fuel, checked all grounds etc etc. Suspect it was fouled plugs all along now. However, the plugs, plugs connectors and coils all look a bit worse for wear and a new set just arrived in...

Thanks PJ. Wiring from ignition to coils seems fine. Switched power in black wire and on/off power in blue and yellow coil wires when the engine turns over. I have some new plugs on order. In the meantime, is there a good option to defoul them like emory paper etc?

Thanks for the reply. The ignition unit is a Prestolite I think - which I haven't touched. Which symptom makes you think the timing has moved?

OK, removed the muffler on my CB400F to repack it. It took some effort to get it off – a lot of pulling and twisting. Now the bike won't start??? The freshly charged battery cranks the motor at speed and but it won't fire. No better with the kick start or with a (running) car battery hooked...
