Re: 1977 CB750k, (Nearly there, at least for this summer.)
Well, I've gotten a decent amount of work done now, mostly clean up from here and a few odds/ends. I didn't think the front of the seat would ne that high up so Im probably going to figure out how to change that so it's lower. I've got...
Yeah, I have a facebook, and I do enjoy it. I have friends from various places I've lived/they've moved that I wouldn't keep in touch with otherwise....
The key to keeping drama free is removing people....seeing 900 friends shit is drama lol.....if you don't want to see it. delete them...
Well, I found my answer, if anyone else was curious and wanted to do the small amount of math needed this site
http://www.motorcycleanchor.com/motorcycle/how_to/mc_sprocketmath.html
is quite good, I just wasn't really sure how much change was "too much"
Also, it looks like I was totally off...
I'd probably be interested in going, depending on the dates and my class schedule for the summer. The Milton campground is much easier for me to get to, but either way around it I would like to try to get there.
I got the front sprocket and chain already but no rear sprocket yet. Its for my 77 cb750k. My understanding is that when going from 630 to 530 you would multiply the teeth/links by 6/5 so the stock front (15) would be 18, the rear stock of 35 [It's actually 41, I'm a dummy] would be 42 [48/49...
I got the carbs done last night, just in time for the carb sync to come in the mail, though I probably won't be using it for some time. I'd like to start in on the wheels, I've been thinking white hubs/spokes and black rims, or just all black, I really can't decide what I like better.
Well, the friend that was supposed to help me start the project never came through, So I just started to do what I can on my own and supposedly have someone lined up to help with the frame when I get to that...Things got a bit stagnant but I started doing things and ordered all my parts in the...
I sent a PM but I'm not sure if it didn't go through or if my inbox is broken, I was looking for a quote for solid pegs & shipping to 18602, jonathanzbikowski@gmail.com Thanks!
Re: 1977 CB750k, first build (well, it's starting anyhow)
Well, I'm still am not where I would like to be right now, but school is killing me. I've got a couple days off coming up for thanksgiving and I'm nearly done for the semester, so the real fun can start then. All I've really managed to...
Re: 1977 CB750k, first build (well, it's starting anyhow)
Not too much to report yet.... I have gotten a few things done but I've just been too busy to do much. I put on some clubmans and pod filters to see what it would look like, and changed a couple cables. I just got several things in the...
Yeah, for sure. I'll have the bike built by spring. @ millinum falcon I go to school at Bloomsburg University so I,ll be in centralish PA with the bike this spring, soon as the weather gets warm again.
Nevermind. I should have opened the throttle handle first...Looks like one of the cables is frayed and is the wrong one, as well as the throttle handle having pieces broken.
