Ive done the cleaning which didnt affect float height. Ive read theres a tolerance +\- 1 mil for floats but mine a a good quarter inch from that. I dont recall the bowls leaking out the overflow, just thefyel joints. And to complicate matters i found the secondary main jet a 120 instead of stock...

Bought the bike non running. Thought i might get lucky and not have to tinker with the carbs. Noticed fuel leaking from the 1/2 carb joint when i was ready to start her up.

While interrogating my carbs, im noticing all of my floats are consistently out of spec. These are the plastic non adjustable type. Im measuring these with the floats hanging down. Honda says theyre 0.61" from carb base, mine are 0.8-0.9". Im thinking a possibility of incorrect float valves or...

Im running into this same issue. They are available now (this thread is pretty dated). . Check hondapartsnation.com theyre also on ebay but beware there are some considerably less expensive ones that are out of Taiwan.

Id also like to know this. Has anyone been able to make a ckoke lever at the carb itself?

OKI MPS-200 four wire spark ignitors. The label on these says 85 Goldwing Gl1200. They came with spare parts box for my CB750 but theyre not gonna work on mybike. $60 shipped

Ok thanks guys. So ive got 12v to each coil on the Bk/w wire. 515 and 519 ohms on the colored pairs. No continuity to ground. Swapping the ignitors moves the issue from cy 1/4 to 2/3 Swapping the coils moves the issue from cy 1/4 to 2/3 PO intalled Dynatek DC1-1 coils. Most of what ive read...
