The race on the fork can also be pulled off with a special tool called a crownrace puller. makes it much less of a headache.

    Riding bitch with the wife...

Only way i'd get on the back with my girl is if she was hauling my wasted ass home from the bar. (and i'd probably fall off anyway)

cb550 electric start suddenly not working

first check that the button on the bar is functioning properly, if yes then check fuses, if all is good starter brushes may need to be serviced.

    Distressed paint.

If you have access, maybe a light spraying from a media/sand blaster from a distance.

What is your favorite tool? why?

Either my Snapon ratchet, because it feels so right in my hand and just works. Or my MacBook Pro, because it makes all my other projects possible and is a source of constant inspiration.

    How junkie is too junkie?

All else fails you can usually double your money with a little eBay work, otherwise get a couple of similar bikes and piece together something unique that fits your style.

    Honda CB gauge lighting

the only way to do some of the honda gauges is to dremel a small slit in the silver ring that holds the gauge together, its the only way i know of on the sealed ones unfortunately. then you can replace the ring or weld it back together and hide the repair. wish there was a better way...

I want to hide my battery

Look for an AGM battery, they can be had for not much more than the stocker and usually can be mounted in any position, upside-down even.

    Fing pissed need help

If you've already got one wire to go through, it may not be sturdy enough to pull a bundle through, i might try a coathanger and tape to yank em through, a little stronger and you can pull harder. You can make a little hook and wrap the wires so they'll never slip off.

    Cafe'd mini bike???

True, but in reality my Rupp Roadster2 minibike has a bigger engine! ;) (probably weighs more too...)

    1972 Honda cb750 - leaking petcock

If it's the same as my '75 there should be a hex head on the bottom of the bowl, it is threaded into the petcock body and has a seal you can check at the top, otherwise there are two screws that hold the petcock directly to the tank, take those out and it will slide right out, check the gasket...
