as the title says...i am about to install new dyna coils on my cb450....i have heard they are quite easy to fry if done incorrectly.
So....any tips or suggestions?
Still running points and much of the stock wiring will be gutted....

awesome set up....thanks for posting them. i have in the mail the xs coils with new plugs and wires.....and new points and condensers are coming as well (from dcc). so with that ignition is it set up similar to stock or is it a turn key ignition? and is that switch next to the key the kill...
well....im fine with no direct link or anything but does anyone know what size forks those are then? its a 1974 cb450.....im assuming they are maybe 33mm or 35mm.....but i really dont know.....

im going to bump this post because i defiantly have the same question.....mine is a '74 and i am getting rid of the fork boots and would like to just run the dust covers.....any one know what size has worked for them?

awesome....thank you so much....i have been looking for quite sometime around at different shops and they all said it would be pretty difficult to find the stainless steel braided lines.....ill definantly be buying some here shortly
so i have a cb450 and was wanting to do stainless steel braided front brake lines. i have taken out the front brake switch so it would just be one banjo fitting going into the hard line that is attached to the caliper. i assume it has to be custom made but can anyone point me in the right...

Quick question for the people who run without a speedo and tac....what are some of the pros and cons of not having them? Specifically what do you do about the odometer or trip meter?
I really like the look of no speedo but just not quite sure about ditching it yet.
so i have a 74 cb450k7. i am only running a head light and a tail light (no clickers and no horn). but my question is how do i completely get rid of the stock switches? i want to just have my head light come on when the ignition is on and as for the run/off switch i want to put in some sort...
