I'm toying with the idea of putting a springer on my little KZ440. Been looking online, but everything I find seems to be for Harleys. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

That is a very nice looking rig! I think I'll be keeping my eyes open for a similar style unit.
I don't want to open up a can of worms here but I'm a little confused regarding the dislike of the leaner style units. My thinking was (keep in mind I've never rode with a rig) that a leaner would...
That Meteor certainly is sweet looking! After reading tons of interweb dribble I'm thinking I like the idea of a "leaner". The shape of the Meteor would lend itself nicely to one. Any thoughts on "leaners"?

Thanks for the reply Beachcomber. I really like the look of the Steib 500, but I'm not sure if it would suit the Concours. I think it may look too retro on a sport touring bike? All the pictures I've seen with a Concours/sidecar combo show a Velorex rig. I'm not a big fan of the shape of the...
I have a 1986 Kawasaki Concours that I'd like to attach a rig to. I'm up in Canada and sidecars are not very popular here. It looks like I'll have to travel to the States to get something at a reasonable price. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would look good on a Concours in the...
Good news! I installed new wires with new boots. I used non resistance boots, when I grounded the plug out I got a big blue spark at the end of the plug. I installed the plugs in the engine, pressed the starter and she fired up right away!
Thanks to everyone for all the help

I don't have another coil I can swap it out with. Using a multimeter I measure 2.6 ohms, I should see 3 ohms. I will take the coil to a Kawi dealer and have them check it before I buy a new one.
Thanks, WillyT
New plugs, I'm holding the threaded section of the plug against the engine and I get nothing. If I hold it 1/8 away I get a strong arc from the engine to the plug body and a bright blue spark at the tip of the plug where it should be? does this make any sense?

I'm at my wits end with the spark I'm getting. If i ground the plug body to the engine I get little to no spark.
If I hold the plug about 1/8 away I get a beautiful bright blue spark that is strong enough to zap my arm!!! Any ideas why this may be happening?
Thanks, WillyT
