I have just got the frame and a few other bits back from the powdercoaters and pretty happy with the results. Just need to tidy up the engine a bit more and select a new set of treads for the rims then i can start the rebuild!
Did the tube seals and o rings on the heads today. used a couple of skewers to compress the rings worked a charm. Cleaned up the heads and checked the bores etc
Test fitted the seat pan and cowl today. Making a battery enclosure to mount underneath the seat so its hidden. Also have been busy rebuilding the front caliper, prepping engine for paint and making a new wiring harness so that all the wiring can be mostly hidden. Ignition switch will go either...
Update:
I have soda blasted a fair few parts including carbies, engine and various bits. I have also taken my triple clamp to work and deleted the bar mounts. I will be sending frame and wheels off to be powder coated this week!
