    Actually the rear was one inch lower when I welded the tail up. So instead of getting longer shocks to compensate for that, I lowered the front to match it. So the bike is one inch all around lower

    I like this idea. I can make it two separate compartments, that way I can get some storage back. Make the top half for electronics and bottom half for random junk I might be carrying.

    Re: first build! 1975 cb550 Shocks are going to attach at the point where the triangle meets in the rear. Where it would normally mount... using 1 and a half inch longer shocks to account for the up sweep the tail has now... shock loads.... we'll see what happens
