Hi, im looking for measurements on the collars listed number 12 and 14 here:
http://www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-dt250d-1977_model8611/partslist/E-04.html#results
The wheel came without these and im gonna fabricate new ones. Anyone? =)
Yeah i got that but what about the xl front wheel in xl forks and XS trees.. Will the brake stay work? Spacers? I mean will you have same space between legs with xs trees as ypu would have on xl trees. Thats my concern :) if i need to fab Spacers and a brake stay then i could easily just buy the...
Yeah, and by the looks of it this got the xl fork and wheels in xs trees :) just dont know what has to be done to make it fit.

Hi, ive read around some forums and seen some pictures that XL 250 forks with front wheel is a direct swap to an xs650 without fabrication? Anyone can confirm this?
Also, did Honda use the same forks for XL 250 1972-73 (motorsport) and in the 1974-76 model? Front wheel aswell?

So, anyone know what the new disc offset should be with the motolanna adapters for the brembo caliper? is it 10mm? can i go with a disk that has 9.5mm in offset or does it have to be an exact matching offset?
Alright, so ill go stock MC with the brembo caliper then. Im going to buy the parts from motolanna, or you know anyone else making these parts to fit an bremco caliper? and what rotor should i be looking for 320mm O.D, 64mm ID and 6 bolt 80mm pattern, what offset? 10mm?
/thanks
and im using ss braided line, and a banjobolt from fleebay with brake switch, if that matters. could try it with the old banjo bolt since the "channels" in that banjo screw seems bigger. but, any ideas?
So, im having trouble bleeding the 11mm MC with stock caliper on an SR500 -1980.. it locks the wheel maybe halfway, but i can still turn the lever against the bar easy?! natural?
its from an ktm 450 exc -2003.
And also wondering if that 11mm MC is enough for the 4piston brembo i got laying...
In this harness i think its red/black if im not colour blind :)
Thanks. Another thought and ill be done, is it possible to add a toggle for a kill instead of the relay, but hidden next to the ign switch? With black on one pole and black/White on the other? Have a 10amp toggle around if its...
Ok thanks :) want to ask another thing, il be running a motogadget m-flash unit, and it cant be run on same power as horn, coils etc? Can i wire a straight wire to the flasher from the battery eliminator to the m-flash, ofc with a fuse before it?
Okay, they are not needed in the ignition switch yes, but they go to the relay? And where do i wire the relay, after the ignition switch? So blue from switch to relay and yet another blue from there to headlight switch? Sorry for my zero knowledge, new to wiring as you can see :) hehe
Yeah im with you there, what i want to do is to use a 2 way switch for ignition and ditch the kill switch also, so the relay must come after the ignition switch, right? And how do i wire from that switch to the relay? Its the blue wire thats confusing me
I got a little confused about this now, any chance you could redraw the diagram? =) So from the battery (Red) to the switch? Red/White, Blue out from the switch? That blue goes to the relay? I'll need two blue coming out from the switch?
gaah, wiring is a mess :P
So here's a link to the diagram: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0BD_MkiU7JpcVczY2M1aURyZHM/edit
my question now is, can i run it with a regular OFF/ON switch with two connection points? and how do i do that? im new into wiring but got everything figured out except the ignition switch.. and i...
