    Cookie_M0nster's TX500 Build.

Today I made a great breakthrough!! I was able to get that piston unstuck!! What I did was get a lot of hot water and was able to get the stuck piston heated up and then followed that with some ice to cool down the piston. After letting it sit for a while I took a big piece of wood and a 2lb...

    Cookie_M0nster's TX500 Build.

Today I started tearing down the engine. I got it down to the cylinders and got stuck. Turns out the right piston is stuck in the bore. I love my Lincoln 110. I'd get on CL and see if you can find some good used Millers or Lincoln's for your price range.

    Wire Sleeving

It might sound odd but for some of the smaller strand wires I have had luck using hollowed out 550 cord. It's durable and you can get it in just about every color known to man. Plus it's about $.11/ft.

n00b with first bike(s) seeks advice and knowledge. I dunno, I really like the way the TX looks, plus I wanted something that I could ride to work and not smell like 2 stroke exhaust. Thanks! I have been gathering parts slowly but surely. So far I have picked up carbs, and engine, a new...
