CB 400f clutch and engine cover on 350f??

Not trying to argue but you are missing the entire point here. I have the 350f parts. I want to use the 400f covers on the 350f because I think they look better. Hints the reason I asked if they can fit and if anyone had tried. Looking at them I guess I was wrong to figure it was something...

CB 400f clutch and engine cover on 350f??

They are completely different parts. They are not the same part numbers. But at least the sprocket side appears to be the exact same size and mounting holes appear to look like they are in the same spot. The clutch side however is a totally different mechanism of how it depresses the clutch...

CB 400f clutch and engine cover on 350f??

I've tried to find any threads on this using the search but cannot. Can the left side starter/front sprocket cover and right side clutch cover from the 400f be used on the 350f?

So I removed the oe wire from both the stater and field coil and replaced them with M22759/16-20 Tefzel wire. Tied the stater wires back down with wax coated lacing cord, and still need to seal the field coil leads back down using RT125.

So should the white and green wires when taken apart and out of the motor have continuity between them? Mine does. If power goes into it and its just a coil then comes out to ground why would it matter which one was getting the power as long as the other was connected to ground?

Does the polarity of the feild coil wires (green and white) matter?

Thanks for the input. All good things. I wasn't aware the regulator needed unfused battery contact. And I have been debating if I want to do a kill switch or not. I didn't add anything to this first layout because I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. Also I will be running a dyna...

This is my first draw up of the direction I think I want to go with the harness. I plan to use an LED strip tail light with blinkers, LED front blinkers, Dyna Ignition, and Ricks R/R. I want to put the Ignition switch and Hi Beam switch into the headlight housing. As long as the Neutral...

About to start doing this on my build and was curious if anyone has ever used these products and done their motorcycle in this style before. These are from my 94' Civic build.
