    My lil' cb350

I test fitted the tail section and decided I didn't like the way it looked(too big), so I made another one today. Here's a rough idea of how it will look on the bike.

The engine got a little taller today, but I still have to set all my timing and adjust my valves/points before I close it all up. I also need to beadblast and repaint all the side covers so they match(they are bolted up right now so I can set the crank position and make sure my clutch was working).

Painted some more parts today, the other half is still in the oven baking. Still waiting on the head gasket, but the motor is about 80% done at this point.

I like my gel cell because it's smaller, can be mounted in any position, and still has enough juice to start the bike no problem.

Project 'Annabel Lee' (ordering new parts for winter- advice needed)

Re: Project 'Annabel Lee' I used duplicolor engine paint with the clear coat over top, and i think it looked pretty good. I don't know if they have a flat silver though, there are quite a few colors to choose from.

I've got some updates so i'm going to put a couple days worth in this post Tore down the motor the rest of the way and did some light cleaning today. I've been on EBay looking for the parts I need to replace from the oil starvation, hopefully I will get the whole top end i am watching right...

Well, I blew that one (cam chain catastrophe)

    small CL 360 project

Make sure you don't run the bike too lean with that paint, I had mine done with the same stuff and it yellowed/bubbled on the head when I was playing with my carbs.

It got into the 50's today and i was thinking about taking the old 350 out for a spin, but to my dismay i dug it out of storage and found that the tank and swingarm had some crazing, probably from the extreme weather and multiple coats of clear :(. I suppose it's time to start over, but i think...

Painted the existing, and thank you All of the blue is a duplicolor acrylic enamel out of a can, got it from advance auto Why would I put it there if I couldn't see anything with it? come on now... Duplicolor hi-temp engine paint Sorry for neglecting this for so long, but I hope to...

Well, I blew that one (cam chain catastrophe)

I'm not sure that I follow that first part, as the cam will still hold the valves open even if the gear goes haywire. I cranked those bolts down pretty tight and ended up here so I would be a little cautious of that method, although I didn't put any loctite on them. I guess all there is to do...
