The tank is in great shape and I am only selling it because I have changed directions.
Thanks.
If you ever need help with conceptualizing your bike let me know, I'm a product designer and I can sketch up lots of detailed work for you if you need I do plenty of contract work on the side! Helps to see what it will look like before actually diving into it.
Re: FFJMOORE Big Blue FINISHED!!! 11-20-11
Great write up! I will definitely be trying that on my cb125, Is there a link you can send me to where you bought those shocks? did they come black or did you have to powder coat them?
Thanks!
Hi Everyone,
Explains itself in the title, but I am also interested in any and all CB 125 parts or compatible parts. I'll even consider whole bikes, so just let me know what you have got!
Thanks!
I just recently got a NOS cb200 tank but it is missing the gascap latch and the center rubber and trim, you wouldn't happen to have any of that lying around would you?
Fantastic post as I have been recently looking into this. I live in Dallas as well so this info is exactly what I needed. I think however that I am going to be registering the bike in vermont as described here. http://benboyle.com/blog/
Re: XL100 cafe racer - renamed "Mini-mono"
Yes the RD60 was imported on a small scale from 73-75. They actually also made an SS50 and the tank is nearly identical to your honda SS50 tank. I realized the ss50 was not imported, I looked at both of those tanks on ebay but decided against that...
Re: XL100 cafe racer - renamed "Mini-mono"
I almost picked up the exact tank, I ended up grabbing a extremely rare yamaha rd60 tank, I'm excited to see your build progress!
Thanks Eyhonda,
I have actually already been following your thread. I hope to have build started up soon, just waiting to move into the new shop.
I appreciate the help and look forward to seeing your finished bike.
