    81 honda cb650

Is the bike turning on? if not it may be the main fuse which is located on the right side (if your sitting on the bike) under the side cover i think. If you've been replacing handle bars or messing with wiring i would check the all of the clips in the headlight.

I love this... how did you make the mount? what does it look like underneath? is it a box, or is it simply a plate?

    CB550K

My first bike was a 78 cb550 with the same color scheme. i loved it and wish i never sold it. I love the tank color and the flashy four into four exhaust. Makes me wish i still had it, rather than my 79 cb650

Here's a cleaner pic. I ended up mounting the seat with the pin and lock from the other seat along with a door hinge from home depot. Also, any ideas or advice on what i can do to make this bike look better, next steps, color schemes would be much appreciated!

home made cafe seat and bobber for 70 bucks (if you have a welder)

I just didn't do very much research and decided to just start and go with the flow. by wrapping it around the frame do you mean making the seat wider so that it fits over the frame bars?

home made cafe seat and bobber for 70 bucks (if you have a welder)

This is my first attempt working with a welder and doing metal work. I still need to adjust it to cover the end of the frame and make it fit nice and snug. I made a skeleton seat pan out of angle iron and a square steel bar i purchased at home depot. I cut some sheet metal and surprisingly...
