where are you going with this? I find it much easier to replace with the exact model specified for use. all are still available in one form or another

My friend used high strength bolts. few thousand on it and no problems.
Loctite only works if both surfaces are completely degreased/clean

After seeing a set of sprocket bolts back out on a friends bike, I always use loctite on them after thoroughly cleaning both threads. As the bolts back out they shear off on a surrounding surface. Might be the cause of the hole you mentioned. (just an idea...

maybe use the online calculator rate for the dual shock setup of an approximately the same weight bike, then double it? Just a far fetched idea. I guess if you already have it, hook it up and ride it. you'll know immediately if its way out.

I am assuming they are only boring the author's cylinders, but yes, they do it all. If you have a 2 stroke, they will even modify the porting per request or match existing on new sleeves.
