Anyone have a good step by step to do this? any pictures would be really helpful.
I'm trying to fig it out using my Clymer and I'm pretty much stuck now that i have removed the rubber boot. I don't know how to remove any of the other washers or piston.
Recently my '72 CB450 keeps bogging down on me constantly at about 70-80mph and slows down to about 45mph max! I can accelerate up to 70 or 80 and it will stay there for about 5-10 secs then it will just begin to slow down and only go 45.
I'm still not sure if whether its stopping or slowing...
Does anyone have any pointers on Disc Brake Maintenance for a 72 cb 450? My front ones are rubbing together making an awful squeak and slowing me down ;)
Where should I start? What should I look for? What should I replace?
Word.
My front disc brakes seem to be partially engaged all the time and i'm wondering if its doing damage to the disc itself or if its just wearing on the pads.
Anyone have any tips about disc brake maintance?
Jeff
