update on my KZ650. got the carbs all cleaned and jetted, wrapped the exhaust, hooked up all the LED turn signal and tail light and made a seat pad. She seems to be starting and running fine but you know how that goes.

Yeah DCC is pretty cool I got my seat from them. Here's a picture of it, still working on the wiring.

Very cool. I'm still working on my seat, I didn't think to use wood as a base. Good idea I havent seen anyone really post stuff on how exactly to make the seat padding. Oh, and I'm a fan of the Air Force insignia. I wanted to paint my kz650 the Japanese Zero scheme.

What's the deal with fork braces? I've notice some cafe's with it on and some without it. I can understand it might be needed but is it necessary?
