    Im in melbourne and I'm looking at branching into alu tanks! The dollars makes sense if you brake it down. A tank might take me 16 or so hours if mirror.     Grinding and welding out the tank seam?

    Im a sheet metal worker and run a engineering business and I can tell you that a oxy will throw way to much heat into it. As will a tig weld. Your best bet is with a mig but as soon as you lose that seam that thin metal will go all over the joint. what your telling me about a bit at a time...
