So I am new to motorcycle building, not new to riding or the culture of the cafe racer so im trying to be a proper garage weekend warrior and start a bike project. I will start a thread on the build, a 1973 DT 250 2 stroker! any and all information and knowledge will be welcome!

Hey Catbird, I know this was an older post and I hope you have since figured tings out BUT if you havnt or are stuck, I know the 73 DTs ran off of the 6volt electrical system and anything after 73 was 12volt so a complete re wire would be in order because the stator on my bike wont put out...
