i just replaced the throttle cables and choke cable. This bike is so fast and sooooo responsive now. i also drilled out the dynojet mains just because it felt like it was running a little lean. and now the bike screams! With the one tooth down in front the bike accelerates so fast.

i really dont like the shocks, theyre to squishy in the corners and makes things a lil hairy

Thanks! I just found the airbox side covers and painted them black and will throw them on too.

For the price of the shocks im surpised of how comfy they are. They make the ride smooth and plush. Cornering on the bike feels good too. Plus theyre rebuildable.

thank you! It's a 750k with the stock tank. i dont know if there was a difference in size between the two tanks.

I finally figured out why i couldnt tune the damned thing. Most of the valves were too tight and one was way too loose. just waiting on a new head gasket and im good to go. i didnt have to do the coke can mod or anything crazy, there were just too many inconsistencies in this old bike that...
