Nice reading! The maintenance schedule is a bit 'tight'? I mean, changing the engine oil,checking valve clearance and cam chain tension every 1000km. Is that necessary? And if a dealer has to do that (for keeping your warranty), it might be a costly affair.. :-\ Fred

Can you still buy Dunlop TT 100's ? I recall Dunlop is selling a newer version of these, TT86 or so ? They are looking more traditional , which i always nice on a bike like an Ace. Don't know if they are better than the M45s. Fred

85-95 on a flat road. We don't have flat roads here. I live in the north of Vermland (Norra Värmland) Sweden. It is quite hilly over here. Allowed topspeed 80 or 90 km/hour. Without the hills a standard bike should 'work'... So you have to 'tune' the engine, won't you guys have problems with...

Are there folks with standard Aces who have measured their top speed? The Swedish importer mentions 85 km/hour... ::) Fred
