So all is still ticking along, I've being doing a lot of wet sanding on engine cases gunna paint up the jugs etc and have found a good place to get my cylinders to .25 over. Also trying to strip my tank of all the paint which is a royal PIA but almost there. Detabbing and grinding the frame...

maybe i will invest in some mukini carbs at some point.. what have all of you guys experiance with them been? im in the UK and getting a pain to me seems kind of expensive

i would love those slides with diaphragms etc if thats cool? i have a 1971 if that works with them? thank you very much.

so the diaphragms are ripped / missing in the carbs that came with my bike and i guess im tossing around the ideas of sourcing used diaphragms on slides, buying aftermarket diaphragms from JB or similar or shelling out a bit more money for some 28/30mm mikuni carbs. i guess i was just interested...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, making some progress slowly its all looking pretty good, im a bit of a novice on the building of bikes etc but have a couple of manuals and my brother is helping me but its going all ok i think.!

So the plan is to debate wether to split the bottom or nor, apart from that work on other things shall continue soon!!
