So I've been helping my friend Loganrm in person and spying on the build on DTT for quite some time. I thought that I had shaken the motorbike bug, but as each day ended, I absolutely regretted selling my triumph last year (and grew pretty envious of the little cb360 build down the street.) So here we are about a year in, post-functioning, legal death trap, and I absolutely had the fever bad enough to go and buy a salvage title 72 CB500 four. Other than bent forks and broken odds and ends, she's in pretty decent shape! It runs! Probably not much of a cafe build as much as a restoration but at least it'll get me back on two wheels.
