Really neat work - I like the tail and fender a lot. Wouldn't mind seeing the exhaust side, too.

Well I'll be copulated ........................... I've just bid on a 5 gall Manx tank as I was not 100% happy with my own G50 style mods.

Questions [ nice look BTW ] .

Is the frame essentially the same under the tank as the early TR1 / XV [ ie HUGE ]?
Did you have to mod either tank or frame ?

My "Vindicator" 60's style Cafe Racer is still rumbling along - and as you do, some ideas have evolved along the way. I was offered a Metisse / Avon top fairing last week, which got me thinking along similar lines to your own style.

The Metisse / Avon fairing was VERY sixties and would fit right in with the look I have in mind.

What YOU have done is to show me in the flesh what I was trying to envisage in my mind's eye for the Manx tank - and it looks spot on ! THANK YOU. ;)

Nice bike, well done!

Could we have more photos of the bike please? (From more angles/sides, and bigger/better resolution)
Please, please, please?

not universally, no. i think the 2nd gen wheels are a direct swap; Yamaha vision as well.

How'd you get spoked wheels to fit and get rid of those god-awful swirly alloys?

The tire change has been a success! did not like the 15-inch rear wheel.

Maybe its the photo, but that fairing looks like its at the wrong angle.

Yes, depends on the angle of the photo, the fairing looks weird.

The second generation of Virago 1100/750, as you say, is a direct exchange, because they came standard with wheels radio.

Here in Spain the cost of those tires is too expensive, can cost the game € 1,000.

We use a hub to other tire, cardan adapt and radiate the rim again.
