In 2008 my friend Dave and I took our old Airheads south on a bit of a ride.
10 days, a bunch of miles. The bikes behaved themselves the entire trip until the last day when we hit very cold wet weather in early October close to home. Ended up having to rent a truck in Ft Erie when on top of the poor running, Dave's rear wheel bearing imploded.
Thankfully that happened in the last 24 hours of an otherwise mechanically perfect ride.
Back in 2008 it wasn't so easy to document the trip - I had a new fangled GPS tracker that let me put this page together with photos tagged to locations.
