Another battery location?

Hi guys,

I've been away for six months and it's finally time to get back to work on my baby :D

I've noticed some bikes on facebook where the owners have replaced their seats (which I'm doing) AND shifted their batteries.
My question is where; or have they been removed all together?
I would like to remove the small panels and add an air filter so that's why I ask.

Thanks in advance.

A lithium-iron battery is the answer. A smaller and lighter battery then an OEM and it can be positioned in any direction.

I recently moved mine from the centre to under the hump in my seat by lying it on its side. A relatively easy mod for my bike as all I had to do was reroute the cables (length was fine) and repositioned OEM battery holder with a little added rubber padding.

I started a new thread because I am changing the seat and that position isn't an option (I should have made that clearer sorry).

Thanks though.

Hi Acethusiasts,

after 50 cm of snow and minus 10 degrees...Celsius, I have time to replace my battery. And I took the old one and wanted to place it like Sneikz do. So far so good, BUT, even all the Girls say, size doesn´t matter, I can tell you: IT DOES. Mine was too big...I´m talking about my battery. ;D SO, I bought a new one, and.....it fits. Just rerouting some cables and everything looks fine, as you can see on the pics. And there is also one pic, where you can see the diference from the old one to the new one.

Keep you updated.

Rgds from good (c)old Germany
