black on black on black

i thought skyjackers were gas charged......thats why i mentioned it. i did a lift on my buddies 05 ram 1500 and those were certainly gas charged...that may have been a rough country lift thought now that i think about it.

youre 100% correct sir.....they are hydraulic shocks for the jeep in the skyjacker kit, i just looked up my buddies ram and the kit i installed was a 5" from rough country which was nitrogen charged shocks

AWESOME!!! i just put a ton of work into them and was like NOOOOOO!!!!
ha ha ha, no leaks or anything so they should be golden!

haha....i shouldnt have been so quick to assume they were charged, my bad. as long as they arent leaking any fluid they should be fine.

nope... no big tires, i use my truck... i got brand new 30's AT heavy treads on there right now, great tire, brand new.... plus i tow all winter long and on long snowmobile trips that tire noise would drive me FN insane!
shocks are shot and curing, gloss black epoxy paint to the rescue!

ahh thats true. you could go for a finer thread in a bigger size and keep the tire noise down....

I, well truly my dad, has 32's mounted on his 2004 explorer, no lift. looks great, gets through damn anything well ever hit on the road (especially on those trips up to vermont) and the tire noise is fairly non existant. weve considered a lift and fitting 35s or so, but we havent gotten around to it yet.
