If anyone is bummed about Irene fooking up the show.. You should all come on up to CT for the Rockers Re-union Sunday Sept 4th.. with a pre party on the 3rd....
Anyone that was going to Charm city and could not due to the hurricane can come up and get in to the re-union... I dont know if you guys had pre reg tickets or something like that but if you did and can show it at the door well see what we can do to bump the entrance fees!!!
We can combine the shows, offer you space to set up and hang out and have a drink.. and we can get some proceeds going towards paying the acts for Charm city if there is lost revanue for cancelations or reschedualing....
Cheers to all the CAFF culture out there and hope to see you soon either here in CT or at the new date in Charm city....
No worries.. and glad ya got a new date... Just wanna help out other groups doing the same thing... Yeah... lets see if we can figure out a event thingy!
Me + 1 heading down from Pittsburgh. Is there any after party or something???? We're figuring out if we're staying in Baltimore or heading part way back.
No official after party planned. We're going to head to to the Manassas, VA area afterwards, find a place to crash, party and be in town for the Virginia British Motorcycle Club's Rallye the next day.
The show was awesome! The weather was a bit dodgy riding up from Bethesda and I got caught in a monsoon on the way home, but the show was dry and we had a great time. So many good looking bikes and everyone was super cool. I definitly made a few new friends. The best part was the group ride through the city. I had never been in a group that larg and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to next years event.
The ride wasn't long. We went from Brewers Landing into East Baltimore. I had intended to go along the waterfront into Fells Point, but our rain date coinciding with "Fells Point Fest" and the roads were closed. It was a little shorter than I planned. Probably about 20 miles. Our crew blocked traffic for a couple of turns. The route was planned to avoid traffic problems.
Turnout was great despite some really crappy looking skies and cool weather.
