Good decision -- bet you're glad it didn't go ahead today!

October is a great time for a bike show -- nice temperature, and let's hope it doesn't rain that day!

OI Charm city,

If anyone is bummed about Irene fooking up the show.. You should all come on up to CT for the Rockers Re-union Sunday Sept 4th.. with a pre party on the 3rd....

Anyone that was going to Charm city and could not due to the hurricane can come up and get in to the re-union... I dont know if you guys had pre reg tickets or something like that but if you did and can show it at the door well see what we can do to bump the entrance fees!!!

We can combine the shows, offer you space to set up and hang out and have a drink.. and we can get some proceeds going towards paying the acts for Charm city if there is lost revanue for cancelations or reschedualing....

Cheers to all the CAFF culture out there and hope to see you soon either here in CT or at the new date in Charm city....

Thanks for the offers Seth.

We're in good shape. Entertainment and Vendors/Sponsors are good with the new date.

I wish I could make it up, but I'm broke until Sept 15th (bonus time!).

Maybe we can come up with something as an incentive for people to do both events next year.

No worries.. and glad ya got a new date... Just wanna help out other groups doing the same thing... Yeah... lets see if we can figure out a event thingy!

Cheers and stay dry!

Me + 1 heading down from Pittsburgh. Is there any after party or something???? We're figuring out if we're staying in Baltimore or heading part way back.

The show was awesome! The weather was a bit dodgy riding up from Bethesda and I got caught in a monsoon on the way home, but the show was dry and we had a great time. So many good looking bikes and everyone was super cool. I definitly made a few new friends. The best part was the group ride through the city. I had never been in a group that larg and it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to next years event.

Does anyone have any pics of the show?

Sorry I couldn't make it Al -- family matter had to take precedence, unfortunately! Post some photos when you have a chance!

thats super cool and looks like you got a great turn out... how was the ride.. and how long was it..

did you get some cops to block the roads or wsa it just your crew doing it..

I hope to get down there next year but one of the mates had a wedding so we all were there..

Cheers

The ride wasn't long. We went from Brewers Landing into East Baltimore. I had intended to go along the waterfront into Fells Point, but our rain date coinciding with "Fells Point Fest" and the roads were closed. It was a little shorter than I planned. Probably about 20 miles. Our crew blocked traffic for a couple of turns. The route was planned to avoid traffic problems.

Turnout was great despite some really crappy looking skies and cool weather.
