i still have to install my new clubmans and remove the rear fender and relocate the brake light and license plate but its getting there.

i went to Lowes Hardware to get some stuff to finish a license plate bracket im working on...i drove my 1983 VW pickup truck. so i get all the stuff and im headed home on interstate and POOOF!! the engine blows up. but atleast i have the bike to get me back and forth for a couple days until i can figure out whats wrong with the truck.

thanks guys much appreciated. the seat will be replaced soon, i only made that one so i could ride it. since the truck broke i need to ride this anywhere i go...im just hoping the rain holds out until i can get another car...which i dont have money for. :-[

That the one thing I HATE about buying stuff from ebay and online...the waiting sucks...

well this poor beast looks like it might have a fighting chance...i bought another diesel motor for it and i'll start work on it real soon.

Good job on the bike, that's a funky coor, I like it. Also, that VW looks cool too. I'd think it's worth the time for the engine instal.

.....G.....

I know a guy selling a Kawasaki KZ1300. 1300cc's in 6 cylinders. Would probably push the VW pretty good!

Put it in the bed and do wheelies :)

That's the first I've ever seen of a VW pick-up of that era... funky ;D
