I can say that have seen one of these up close and personal and they are not to be messed with. I am lucky enough to have an in with Jay Leno and I have seen his collection a few times. He has one of these and it is awesome!!! Unfortunatly, the engine is so powerful it keeps blowing through transmissions!!! Last I heard Jay had gone through 3 in a year. Guess its nice to spend that kind of money on your hobby right??

The problem with a turbine motor is the lag. Theres a couple seconds between when you give it throttle and the motor responds, and also a couple seconds from when you let go and the motor winds down. Im sure thats why it destroys transmissions, but more importantly why a turbine motor is a horrid idea for the street.

I like how in the little CGI promo vid, the rider isn't wearing a helmet, only some shades as he goes so fast he blows the windows out of nearby cars. Oh, but he is wearing leathers, so it's cool.
