Bike is looking amazing!! Those pipes make that bike sound sooooo good.

"I tried bending it more to clear the carbs now that i have them in place but it aint going to work. Think im going to have to cut the bungs off and weld in new ones. I have an email into the tank builder. See what he says."
Wish I was closer.....i'd relocate them for ya.

Thanks. I have watched all your videos on tank building and want to build my own. I have a tig welder. I talked to the guy who made the tank and he was going to send me new bungs. He told me to try to just bend the bung holes over with a screwdriver if i only needed a little to clear. It worked. The petcocks dont sit straight up and down but they clear and thats what is important.


Now im just waiting on some custom cable from motion pro. I hope my measurements were right. :eek:

If I didn't mention this before - This is a great build!

Where did you pickup the mesh expandable cable wrap? I am starting into a 550 project and this would come in handy for running all the wires as you have done.

Awesome job! I love the color of the frame along with the raw metal. Exhaust is spot on too!
