I am selling my 1977 Yamaha RD400. The entire motorcycle build was hand built by Chuck Supertune Quenzler AKA Team Scream Racing. Nothing was left untouched and it was a full frame up "blank check" rebuild. I will try to post as much as information as I can remember about the bike/build. If someone is interested or would like more information I have more detailed parts list and pictures/videos. Bike is currently located in Pooler, GA

*Motor*
The motor setup when built costed $5000+ usd without carbs, and that is with me providing the engine.
Motor is 427cc's
Cases were glass bead and completely stripped down
Stage 2 Supertune full porting job
Cut and O ringed daytona heads.
Weisco rz350 pistons in 66mm
Rebuilt crank with all of the goods. New rods, rm125 bearings, etc.
Power dynamo electronic ignition setup
yz85 vforce 3 reeds
Mikuni Tm34 flatslide carbs
supertune boost bottle
Spec 2 f1's that have been jet hot coated.
Fully built race spec transmission. Basically what he does to the RD's that run in AHRMA 500 class. Back cut gears etc.
YZ250 clutch
Rebuilt oil pump
NGK Iridiums 9 on the heat range.
Billet oil dip stick
Uni air filters
New kickstarter
New neutral switch
All new seals
power coated covers
new motor mounts.

Motor setup makes a very healthy 60whp even with a larger 530 chain on it. Whomever buys it in the future should upgrade to a lighter 520 chain. Below is a video with two pulls.

Here is a video of the bike that I shot a couple of years back. Nothing has changed on the bike except I removed the rear luggage rack and dropped the front tooth by 1. I didn't hit the throttle full tilt seeing as the gopro was on the tank therefore not allowing me to lean onto it, but it pulls the front wheel up with me on it in first and 2nd and I weigh 300 lbs.

*Suspension/Brakes*
Race Tech Gold Valve Fork Emulators
Race Tech Front Springs .80kg
New fork Fluid
Nitride gold fork Tubes
Economy Cycle Billet Fork Caps with Preload Adjusters
Lowers were powercoated
Hagon rear shocks
Yamaha r1 blue dot caliper
sv650 rotor
(Garret 400c on here) Caliper mount kit
Rebuilt rear brake Caliper.
New pads front and rear
Stainless steel brake lines
New Front Master Cylinder
Rebuilt Rear Master Cylinder.

*Misc things*
Economy cycle steering stabilizer.
Nyc quick throttle
New Handle bars and grips
New horn
All balls steering head bearings.
New Bronze swingarm bushings.
Led's all around
New Yamaha Clutch Cable
New Custom Throttle cables. ( for the tm34 carbs/oil pump)
New headlight
New Foot rest rubbers, kickstart, shifter rubbers etc have all been replaced.
Wheel bearings are new.
Shinko 712's front and rear.

Entire Frame and misc pieces powder coated gloss black. Everything that you see on the bike that is black is powder coated. Wheels are powder coated a goldish bronze.
Tank and side tins are original paint. No holes, but there is light surface rust on the parts due to it's +40 year old patina.
All of the hardware on the bike has been replaced with 10.9 grade stainless steel bolts.
Seat has been redone with new foam, and a replica seat cover.

*Summary*
The bike overall is an absolute ripper. It's dead reliable, turns on first kick, and has never left me stranded, or seized.
It also got a top end refresh less than a year ago also done by Chuck.
(New pistons, rings, hone, rod bearings, and seals.)
The top end has roughly about 1200 miles on it.
I am willing to throw in some extras (spare cylinders, luggage rack, rd parts etc depending on the negotiated sale price.)

The bike literally needs nothing, besides a wash/detail lol.

If anyone is interested in being it's new owner and would like more information and or pictures. Feel free to let me know.

Price is $7500 or best offer. If anyone has any questions or wants more information my phone number is 786-806- zero zero five two.

Thank you!

Here is a link with pictures and videos of the build. I took some pictures of the bike outside of my home today. You will have to unzip the file to see the contents.
