Since this place is kinda like Giuliari Seat Central, I decided to post my latest purchase and had a few questions.

I just picked up this new CB750F seat in Germany for $112 USD including shipping. ;D I plan to mount it on a '78 CB750K. What is different about the F was that the hinges were on the opposite side of those on the earlier K models, correct? But the 77 and 78 K models had the hinges opposite of the earlier K models also. SO I am thinking that the F seat should mount up without to many problems to a later K model. Anybody have any idea? I can move the hinges around a little bit if need be, also thinking about running the shorter early K tank.

And before anybody gives me grief.......

I know its white. I will deal with it.

I just have to add a few details to the bike to set it off. White gauge faces to start things off.

Hey Kev,
Ur right about the hinges on the different sides of the different years. ALthought the plunger lock on the later model cb750Ks and the cb750f are on the left side of the bike, they wont line up exactly the same.
Youll have to make another bracket to like it up properly.
If UR interested, let me know I did the same when I put my cb650 Giuliairi on my cb550f. I can send you some pics.

I might just end up cutting all the hinges and the lock off and relocating them to where they have to be. If I cut carefully I should be able to weld them back on without to much hassle.

Even Better.. post some pics.. I''ve always wondered what that seat would look like on a cb750...
