Been Around the Block
Anyone with a Giuliari 750 seat be able to trace the pan and the side profile? Going to try and make a similar seat this spring with a compartment for the battery under the rear hump out of some aluminum and foam. Any help would be appreciated, and some compensation will be in order ;).

I'll have something for you in a few days...
I have pics of my Giuliari seat "deconstructed" so that you can see the original foam pattern, with before and after pics.

Stand-by...

I removed the stock seating foam, (not the hump foam), and replaced it with high density foam, to make it sit lower.
here is the end result with a much lower seating area.

It just occured to me...Do you want a Giuliari seat for your cb750?
What year is your bike?.. I can get one for you, if you want a straight bolt on for an 70-74 cb750, where the plunger lock is on the left hand side of the bike...

let me know.

Couldn't find much to my liking for the CB550, so I was going to just retrofit a 750 on there. Whats the condition of the 70-74 one?

Its flawless but opens the opposite way from left to right with the lock plunger on the left side of the bike.
You'd have to do some mods to mount the cb550 hinge to the seat pan.

Becuase the seat is perfectly mint w/ no rust on the pan or tears on the seat, he's asking 200Euro including shipping to Canada.
Shipping is usually about 42 Euros so basically he wants about $110Euros, which I think is worth it.

If UR Intersted, let me know I can set it up for ya. It is the exact same Giuliari seat like on ProTeals bike.

cheers

Sounds pretty sweet, have any pictures or anything? New to the seats, is this around what minty ones go for?

The last perfect Giuliari seat that I saw on ebay went for $520 US:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMEDW%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170073405087&rd=1,1
There is another one on ebay going for $900 Usd:

If you want a Giuliari seat, I can get one specifically for a cb500/550, in fairly decent shape, (the exact same style as above), for you for about $140 US + shipping
Send me your email and I'll send some pics.

Cheers
Noel
