Gulf coast builders/riders, where ya at? (New Orleans to Pensacola)

I just recently made the move down south to a small town in Mississippi called Gautier. Once I got here and settled in, I started looking around for local shops and riders and found out that there isn't a lot that I can see.

Cruising the coast was cool, but that's once a year.

So where is everyone at? Any riders or builders? Any good shops?

I'm right in between New Orleans, LA and Pensacola, FL. Currently starting a BMW R60/7 into a cafe racer build (going to start a build thread) as well as a Honda CL125 Scrambler.

My buddy is just about done with his shovel head bobber.

Maybe we can get a group together and I'll make the website (I'm a web developer), I'd be down to host some events, sell parts, and do some online trading.

NOLA here. Smajure is over here as well. Ronnie is in the Slidell area. Clem is down around Thibodeaux.
Not too sure about anyone on the MS coast, but there's two good guys on the other side of ya... Deviant1 (Alex) is in Gulf Shores and Twisted Wheelz (Brandon) is in P'cola. Unfortunately they're not on here near as much as they used to be.
 
I'm starting my first build, 2 actually. I'm in Pcola. I used to ride alot but died down since new job keeps me on the road so much. I just recently got the urge to customize a bike. So I'm still searching through the forums for inspiration and tips. Look forward to watching yours.

Good to know. Is there any kind of group? Would love to meet everyone, see their bikes, and hangout.

an xt550 and gpz550 wanna do cafe but it may end up justbeiung customized with newer suspension
 
Henry, sadly there's not a group. But I have been toying with the idea of having some sort of mini-gathering early next year. Stay tuned ;)
 
OMG you are near one of my favorite restaurants. THE SHED. I took Redbird back there on the way home from barber last year
 
I say we meet somewhere in the middle once we get the CB's running. My rd won't make it. I get about 50 mpt
