Helmet

I have a Japanese helmet, and I am going to get a licence soon at Humber college.
I am supposed to bring Ontario standard (DOT) approved helmet, but I do not want to.
Do they even check helmets at school?

I'd say yes, they will, and they'll bounce you and not refund your $$$. Check with them - they often have loaner lids available.

I did my M2 Exit with a non-Dot helmet... LOL...but it did have a DOT sticker on it...<<< BUT >>>they didnt check...

I also did my M2 Course back in 2000, (with a legit helmet), but I they didnt check for DOT back then either. (I remember cuz the guy I sat next to on the Friday night session was shitting himself cuz he only had a shorty helmet.) He used the shorty for the next 2 days..

It depends on the instructor I guess...

Which course are you taking? M2Exit?.. What bike are you gonna ride?

Good luck on the course!!...Its easy just dont drop a bike... That is an instant failure...
