help a fellow musician get his guitar back.

What a sad, sad story. And, what a dick who took his gear. I've been playing for 22 years. Thankfully, I've never been ripped off. I will definately put the word out aroud here, because you never know where things might turn up.

A buddy of mine had his Sunburst Fender Mustang, that he bought new in the sixties, stolen along with the rest of his gear.
He felt like a part of him had died.
Damned thieves have no soul, may they all burn in hell.

Yeah, I had all my stuff stolen from my folks house, back when I started college. I'm still pissed decades later.
What was worse....... the police said "meh, no big deal...no one is physically hurt", and did diddley.

That sucks. I can't imagine how it feels to have something like that stolen. Worst I've had stolen from me was some riding gear which sucks but is easily replaceable. I have a lot of musician friends. I will pass this along.

Ya know assholes like that need a good enough ass kicking that they cant walk for a couple of days. My son is a guitarist in Albuquerque, but I doubt it would show up there but I'll pass the word.

Holy shit. This may be going viral. I've had multiple unrelated facebook friends post this. Here's hoping it works.

thats fucked up... I don't know what help I can do here in NY, but I'll throw it on my facebook also. as a musician and someone whos put a lot of time into my personal properties, I'm with this guy entirely.

I once got mugged for my (at the time) most prized possession, my BMX bike which I had built over a year or two by myself, at the age of 13-15. well, they tried to mug me. Even when a knife came out, I fought until i had three guys lying unconcious in front of me, one with a broken jaw. I have no pitty for anyone who steals from another working man. It is the lowest fucking thing anyone can do, and they deserve the beating of a lifetime for it.

lets get this guy...

I have a bunch of guitars and amps and if anybody were to rip me off they would want the cops to find them before I did. I had my house broke into one time and I caught the little punk who did it and sent him to the police station with a broken hand after I jammed it in the door he broke. We'll get the word out.

If I ever found someone in my house, there would be hell to pay... I have a 120lbs wolf dog Hybrid that doesnt take kindly to strangers and a kitted out alarm system so I dont think thats going to happen any time soon. If anyone ever touched my Ovation Guitar (my father gave me) I would be out for blood... I dont blame the guy for being angry.

I've seen this a few different places. The guy has succeeded, in my opinion. If I was somewhere and saw that guitar, I'd give it a closer look. If it was a Gibson Les Paul, the original owner would be getting his axe back with a picture of an unconscious dipshit.
