What's the story with that intake?
Pretty common mod on the kz400 due to old rubber intake boots being near impossible/expensive to find. Also single carb makes tunning way easier, and its just something different. The original intake I built had longer runners (unequal length) but it was giving me issues with getting it running correctly. It would pool get and getting tool cold, plus one cylinder always ran too rich. This one is more compact so carb tucks into frame much nicer and has been way easier to tune.
