It was our honor to escort PFC Kevin Trimble during his homecoming from San Antonio Military Medical Center. PFC Kimble is a triple amputee and is returning home from service in Afganistan, just in time for Christmas.
These guys are the true definition of Heroes.

I ride with the Patriot Guard as often as I can. I figure it's the least I can do for our Troops. These types of "missions" are a nice change of pace from what we normally do. Which is Ride Escort, and stand Honor Guard, for KIA soldiers.

I got to shake his hand and thank him. He seems to have a very positive attutude. I can only imagine the strength of character it takes come come through the other side of an injury like his. I can only hope/pray that it helps carry him through the many obstacles he has ahead of him as well.
