As the title states what are you guys opinions on the v7 stone?
How far could one push this bike? Are there big bore kits or cams or carb conversions? Is the stock ecu tunable? How reliable is the fuel injection? Ect...
I love how odd it would be in my town as no one has one but also the easily buildable lines of the frame. I'm just unsure about if this is the bike for me and generally curious.
Because a motorcycle is a motorcycle. I have a degree in motorcycle mechanics. I'm not some backwoods redneck idiot whose going to turn it into a sick bobber bro. I was simply trying to get real world opinions from the people on here. I'm looking to do a new cafe build and want a new bike that no one has f'ed up to build on. Something I don't have to rebuild for once would be nice.
Moto Guzzi because I've always heard of their reliability. I love the straight lines of the frame. And I have never seen anyone around my town riding on one.
Without even looking at the airbox or the electrical I know I'm going to rearrange things to get the look I want. Also why not look into the performance aftermarket for a bike when thinking of purchasing it?
I'm just saying I'm not an idiot but its still going to be an absolute pain... I don't want the fi but I'll have to deal with it I guess. As long as I can clean it up like this guy has done I'll be satisfied.. I want a cafe bike with a quarter fairing and a brat inspired seat for a passenger.
The only mod that I want to do that might mess with the tuning is install different mufflers...
But what do you guys think of the bike? That's what I want to know! Thinking of picking up the green one
