Milton Swap Meet

OH SHIT!! good thing you pointed out where its at.., I was just going to go to the fair grounds.. where i asumed it would be.. where everything else seems to take place here in Milton.. BAHAHAHAHA
Slice... if your lucky.. and bring your helmet.. I might stop and pick you up a long your walk.. just promise not to squeeze your legs to much.. bahahahaha

will be there at 8 got to be back for 11:30 my son's bday party, so it'll be a quick walk through,
i'd offer up a ride but they'd have to leave at the same time, or hitch back, leaving from broadview+ gerrard area at 7:15

Well, being the bitch mother nature is, my day at the track has been cancelled, so I'm going fishing, and Milton just happens to be on the way!

For those of us who didn't get there, SHOW US WHAT YA GOT!! ;D ;D

A chilly sometimes drizzly grey day offered up but one gem for me - a nice SR500 pipe with SuperTrapp silencer for $30. For my as-yet unplanned unstarted SR500 project.

Guyz and Ladies,
Tim is so right - grey, cold, drizzily - but did perk up towards the end of it all. Saw the pipe he bought for the SR500 - outstanding!
Thanks to all the DTT'ers that dropped by to say hi, buy a few things or just shoot the shit. Good times.
Took a couple shots of Jack and more than a few minutes in a really hot shower to get body temp back to normal, but hey, that's life.
Bought very little this year - but helped more than a few folks jumpstart their projects with stuff they got from me, though! Almost as good as building it myself.
All in all, a pretty good day.
Pat Cowan,
Pacomotorstuff

was a cool day but lots of warm people about. a nice day to meet old friends before they hibernate for the Great canadian winter  ???

cold morning burrr!,

honda finned tappets covers, number plate, petcock all from pat cowan what a steal, $30,
amp meter $15,
gt grips $2,
bates headlight $5,
fairings 2 for $20,
sealed beam $5,
nhk dampner $20,
alloy dampner knobs 2 fro $5,
manx tank tank latch $20,
bar end mirror $5,
bates headlight $5,

many dtt faces,
good to see,

LOL! I had that damper in my hands twice!!! Only needed the mount, and figured the whole unit was too much just to use the mount, so I put it down.....twice. Ha! I should of asked!!!

yup i thought he'd want more for that thing as well, usually $60, but i've seen the clamp for $15 by it self so $20 is not bad,
my best score was this manx tank strap though, i won an alloy tank while i was away so it'll come in handy real soon,

I thought there was a whole lot of nuthin there today. Nothing at all for my 900F, not that it really needs anything much. I never found anything which I really wanted for my SOHC750 project either. I saw a whole lot of people walking around with a whole lot of nuthin as well.

Woohoo!! Haha, thanks Jim!! Bring it on by the shop and I'll have your cash!

Got my stuff and I didn't have to freeze!! :D

I'm sure Jim will get a "shipping fee" outta me though! ;D

well.. i went not really intending to buy anything.. but i found this CB550 race bike.. I wanted to bring it home.. but the wife said "NO! you already have to many exspensive projects to finish.."

so instead i bought a CB750 swing arm ($10) and going to try to get a 18x4.5 rear wheel to fit like this race bike..

I saw picked up that damper too and didn't, thinking it'd be more than 20 bucks, sheesh. couple of things for the cb650, pair of progressive shocks for 30bucks. Some foam from Pat and another project that wasn't supposed to come home. Just a restore and present for that special someone who says I have too many projects ;)
