New Car

Split personality, I fake being smart
Wife decided we don't owe enough so bought a new Toyota RAV 4 LIMITED this afternoon (took 5 hours+ ::))
I was ready to walk away after 2 hrs
It's pretty cool though with all sorts of 'whistles and bells', electonic 'key' you only need to have in pocket.
I just didn't think it would be so damn expensive.
She needed a new car as Protege is 10yrs old and due for clutch, rear brakes, etc (max 'Blue Book' around $2,000, her's is a bit knocked about although motor is perfect)
Wont be spending any (even less than normal ;)) money on bikes for next 60 months.
Good job I've already got most of things I need.

Will take some pics tomorrow as its too dark tonight

Cool wheels PJ - but watch for that key fob. First they are very expensive to replace. Second it's very easy to leave the engine run while the person with the keys runs into the house/store/etc....

I feel ya. I bought a 2010 Liberty Sport for the lady three days ago. Its pretty basic, gets the same gas millage as my 97 V6 'Stang! and its 4wd.

Well... Lets see how this impacts the bike build.

Fortunately I have a surprise...

Finally got some pictures took :D
Parked on the 'lawn' because construction is never ending, have to do '3 point turn' in order to park on drive.......................................
didn't have title for Protege on Sunday so had to take it up to dealers yesterday.
Screwed up, saw Mazda on titlr, knew we had paid it off in 2004 so ...........
took title to truck which I bought in 2004 ::)
Salesman drove us home and picked up correct title :D
Found out today, dealer installed extra window tint on side windows and a sun-stripe on windshield (they is dark ;D), going to have to read instructions to find out how to work CD, GPS, etc (screen flips up to load CD's)
electronic 'key' is about $300.00 if you loose or break it
here's quick pic, doesn't show colour very well (pearl white, don't know what Toyota call it, something 'fancy' I bet)
