Im new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I only recently built this bike from a pile of junk that was given to me. Originally I was going to restore it to original but then I found out about cafe racers and I knew I had to make one. This is a picture of my project. I am almost done with her and look forward to finishing. Currently I live in Monterey Ca, but I move quite a bit. Unfortunatly I am not able to make any of the rides up in CAN. It has been great reading all the information about the cafe racers on this site and I look forward to talking with some of you.
Cheers
JBL
This is an 82 xj650 Seca. The maxims are a bit more "cruiserish". Thanks for the compliment though. California is nice. Ive lived here most of my life. Ive been trying to get in touch with the Ton Up club here but the closest one is in SF. It seems like you guys have a pretty good club going.
